  • Just back from Nub event...

    ...at JJ Fox.

The creator and owner of Nub hand rolled me my own cigar. Sweet as.

Got a couple of Nub freebies too, the Habono isn't too bad at all - Warren (Peanut) seemed to like it after a bit too.

Think I ate about half a dozen sausage rolls. It was a good evening.

back now too, good to see you 3 again , I found it quite stuffy in the shop with all the sticks on the go, otherwise would have stayed longer but had an excellent time and scored a couple of Nubs to take home, I tried the Cameroon in the store and have to say i didnt enjoy it all that much, everyone else I spoke to had the Habanos Nub and seemed to quite like it.

Im really impressed with JJFox, the guy behind the counter remembered me from the walk and gave me a free Nub after a brief chat, also had a good conversation with the guy that runs the Humi for Fox in Selfridges who was also a nice bloke..

oh and thanks to Deano for bringing the Montes along my main humis now full!

What a cool guy Sam was (he's Mr Nub and invented them in his garage) Young guy and very grounded. Rolled me one too, I can't manage it today so I'm going to have to wait for the 45 days for it to be ready (dates in my diary)

I felt like I inhaled at least 3 Nubs, it was a bit crowded but a great event for me (great networking)

Good to see the guys again. Thanks for the humidification tube Horse and for the 'gars Deano.

I've only smoked one Nub before and it was from Larrysputnik across the Pond. I really liked its pudgy, stubby shape and the smoke itself was quite a decent one.

Was this event a UK launch for the Nub brand, then?

                          Nice work GSS.

I smoked the Habano I got in the pack from JJ Fox last night while Skyping with the Mexican, and I have to say I really enjoyed it.

Short and stocky but perfectly formed.

I have to say that meeting Sam Leccia made me want to like these cigars, he's a real nice guy and his product deserves to do well.

well I had the Cameroon wrapper and it was far too dry and harsh for me, I much prefered the Stub you sent me, saying that I seem to be the only one out of our group that didnt have the Habanos version and everyone liked that, I have one in my humi so will give that a blast before I say I dont like Nubs outright
