      Bad Luck.

Real bad luck Boss, but as long as nobody was hurt, that is the main thing to consider. The insurance can always pay for another car.

Your okay which is the main thing. I am a Half full type of guy so this could be your opportunity to upgrade the motor to a nice sports car or hot hatch. Maybe a nice Focus ST with a little engine remap. 270bhp........

Well done, the Mondeo is a great car. What colour is it and what engine did you go for?

Nice, a great engine as well, as you know it's used in the Jag X-Type. Will you be tempted by something like this http://www.superchips.co.uk/index.ph...cat&Itemid=134

                    Well this just gets worse.

The lorry driver has now changed his story and his insurance are no longer accepting liability, the hire company have now withdrawn the car as they do not know who will pay them. my insurance has no details of mine although they can see I have been paying them but says the policy lapsed. My insurance broker has not fowarded the claim to them. month on and I am back to square one.

Typical, quite happy to accept your hard earned cash but when you need them they crap all over you. Is the truckie claiming you reversed into him and pushed him up the road........

The day from Hell.. the story gets worse

Car finally got written off last week. Got a cheque from the insurance on Friday, so went out and bought a new car on Sunday (Ford S Max titanium x, 6 months old and Ford have pimped it to the max)
Picked the new car up today drove back from the dealer like the most careful driver on the road on carfeul day in careful town. Next thing 2 large stone chips in the windscreen. Got home to a phone call from the storage yard. Now my old car has been written off the insurers are not will to pay the storage costs as it is too high and as the car is my responsibility I have to pay before the car would be released for me to arrange for it to be scrapped. My insurance didnt want to know and would'nt help, said I would have to pay the storage bill and arrange for it to be scrapped myself. then try and claim it back from the third party along with the personal injury and other costs and scrap the vehicle This came in at ?982.50p.
I managed to find a fantastic salvage company up near Mr M. phoned them up and within the hour they had picked up my car from storage and will send me a cheque for the salvage price (?200) in the morning.
I have since cancelled my insurance with the company on the old car. But I'm thinking now if they will still continue to process my personal injury / expense claim now I have cancelled?
