Riding Rockets is written about and by Mike Mullane.

I got another one that I haven't read yet called Sky Walking. It was only available in the U.S. when I got it but is available here now. I think it only cost a penny plus postage from a well known book website. Sky Walking is Tom Jones's memoir - no not the green green grass of home guy the Astronaut. He did four trips, a load of hours space walking and 50 plus days orbitting the earth.

    What? space geek moi? Nah!

Well I do love my job in IT, but there are so many exciting things going on in science at the moment I wish sometimes I'd gone into physics. I got a B in GCSE physics, but a D in maths.

My wife and I would both like to move to Devon and run a B&b around brixam or paignton. If I could run a microbrewery out the back, that would be great.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Not seen the time lapse vid but will do when I log in at home, Cheers.

Actually I think Keith at the Prince had a pretty great job, running a pub AND a cigar shop!

Since this post has been up I have been thinking a lot about what I would swap for. I think I would do Medicine. I really want to help people, and see how I have helped. I thought my job that I have at the moment would be like that, but I am so far removed from patients its ridiculous......I have always been jealous of builders and stuff who can stand back at the end of the day and see what they have accomplished that day.......there is still time, perhaps when I go back to NZ and the other half is working and we are financially stable I will go back to University.

Go for it, I had pretty much given up on nursing until I got fed up with the job I was in, 3 years at uni and I made ward manager less than 4 years after qualifying. I wouldn't change it for the world.
