Smartphones??

hey guys,

I need a new smartphone but cant decide which one to go for. Ive never been a fan of the iphone so thats off the list. I hear blackberry are on the verge of going bust so i dont no which brand to go for. Whats everyones opinions on the HTCs?? im looking to go on pay as you go for now so the handset price needs to be reasonable.

Any ides guys?

Ok was going to suggest the Samsung Galaxy SII....but they are probably insanely expensive still!! Anyway, if its within budget I wouldn't hesitate to by this phone....I have one and find it amazing...

i thought the same but ther around ?350 at the moment. Shame tho because i like the look of thoses. If i spent that on a phone i wont have a cigar budget for around 6 months. and thats a no no

Samsung galaxy or the new HTC. Both run good versions of android and have a good reputation. Alternatively try the Sony experia, I have had and x10 for nearly 2 years and it has been a good phone.

I've had an HTC and hated it, windows phone though which might be the problem. I love my iPhone but you don't so that's out. I would go with the galaxy had a play with th 3 and it was great.

I've had and HTS Desire for nearly two years and really like it.
I'm upgrading this year and will look at the HTC One or the Samsung Galaxy S111.

I have avoided iPhones because of the price. I don't like paying for things that are expensive because of the label they bear........I don't have any Cohiba's in my Humi either - same reason

Doesn't really help but I'm rarely short of an opinion.

iPhone is awesome but it's my 3rd and I use a Mac so it's just seamless for me, sorry not used others although everyone raves bout HTC

Another iPhone and mac user here, my past experience of HTCs was good, but that was back in the pre androd day when they used the crappy mobile windows. HTC build quality ha always been good though.

I'm an HTC fan for a long time, their windows mobile devices were great, given the limits of the OS.

I'm currently using the Sensation with a custom android Rom. It rocks, and every time I look at my wifes iPhone I wonder where half my screen has gone
