    +1.

Sometimes the UK sucks. What sort of parent is it that has no sense of responsibility to the bringing up of it's children. For many of them having children is just a meal ticket to obtaining a free home and gaining seemingly forever benefits, which in many instances won't be used to nurture the child, but will spent on supporting the parents idle or addicted lifestyles. Behaviour which in the main, will be pasted on to the child and the whole cycle of Lumpen dependence repeated over again.

One would think that the politicians and do-gooders might have learned. They know, of course they do, but let's be honest with political self interests and 'that will do nicely' salaries both in local government and outside agencies dependent on the existence of an under-class they're never going to seriously want to do anything about it.

The downside is, decent people who have decent aspirations and want to lead decent fulfilled lives end up paying for it all.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

      That's completely f**ked up.

The sad thing is its descending into a vicious circle of shit. My mum works at "the scheme" (bbc documentary) primary and my sister works at another similar school both teachers and you here some scary story's.

      1) School is judged not on how many kids end up working/at uni etc. but how many they keep out of jail.
      2) Primary 1(5 year old) came to school with a lead pipe because his scumbag dad always carried one.
3)kids that don't know the difference between a cow and a horse.
4)kids with a bottle of lucazade and two packets of space radars for lunch.
      5) one kid at my sisters school the last person to work in his family was his great grandfather.

I really believe that you should have to sit exams and have a licence to have kids because some people should never ever be allowed to ruin their kids lives.

And that isn't just typical ' not my kids' behavior they just wouldn't do it!

I was more meaning similar to a driving test than actual written exams really just something to show you actually care enough to go through classes and spend time learning how to parent.

If I had done something similar to these little shits my feet wouldn't have touched for months, I would have had to go and beg forgiveness, my parents would have paid the damages or I would have been working as your slave until the debt was paid off.

A exam of simple multiple answer questions maybe.

            For him.

            Do you have a job?

            Answers: 1) Yes. 2) No. 3) I'm on incapacity.

            For her.

Do you know the childs' father?

Answers: 1) Yes. 2) No. 3) It was dark.

and so on .... wouldn't be hard .... and they'd all fail.

What I don't get is it's really so very simple.

For the women. As they used to do in Holland, if you're a female and under 25 and get up the duff you are your parents responsibility (guess what Holland has one of the lowest numbers of single mums).

For the Men. As they used to do in Germany, if you went on benefits you used to get a percentage (I think 70% for the first 6 months dropping off to 35% until you found work or retired) of your averaged last 3 years salary, so, if you held down a good job for years and found yourself on hard times, the government would look after you, if you left school and couldn't be bothered to do anything then okay, that's fine but you're on your own Jack.

Please need to be responsible for themselves, what they create and above all for their actions. For some reason people seem to think it's a great idea to take away this responsibility......I have no idea why....the next two decades are going to get pretty aweful.

so sorry to hear of your loss, unfortunately the little toerags are probably under the age of criminal responsibility, as for making the parents responsible for the actions of their kids , what can you do? most live on benefits and could not care, stop their benefits, never going to happen, make the parents do unpaid work, most don't even turn up for this. It's a sad state we are living in today.
hope you can turn everything around and get back to where you were

Here are some pics of the devastation. You can see the bonnets have been blown off by the engine explosions. There was an Audi S4 who's engine had totally melted away. Guys I cant thank you enough for the support, got to admit I felt alone on more than one occasion in the last week. You guys are great!

The irony is my wife and I are going through the adoption process to help an un wanted child and call him/her our own. You wouldnt believe the amount of parenting classes we have had to go through, even though we have 3 boys who we are very proud off. Not to mention the financial intrusions and CRB checks. We had to give 6 referees who could vouch for us. Its a pitty the parents of these dilinquants weren't made to go through the same 6 months of intrusion and we have another 6 months to follow.

Absolutely atrocious. I've long had a problem with the "soft" approach to a lot of things, and this is one of them. I hope that the authorities are able to take action against the little brats who did this.

                          Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.

It beggars belief that some (and it isn't all - there are some very nice young people who will grow into great adults) young people think they can act how they want when they want and not have to answer for the consequences.

Mindless vandalism for the sake of it rather for any sort of reward just does my box in. What exactly did they expect to gain?

When interviewed (if interviewed) by the Police no doubt there'll be a responsible adult that will outline what a hard life the poor youngsters have had. They'll ask for leniency on behalf of the young people and expect that someone else will sort his out.
As for the young people their response will no doubt be to pull up their hood and grunt that they don't know why they did it, maybe for a laugh.

Well I hope that one day someone has a laugh at their expense see how they like it......

Dherm, I hope you are able to sort it and put it all back how it should be - show the little B*s*a*ds.

Oh and get a great big dog so that if they return the dog can show them who's boss.

can you get some razor wire and line the kids garden etc with it. It'd stop them going out and therefore protect the town from them. Much less required then to protect the town properties.

I'm so sorry to hear this. But at least it wasn't the main bit of the business that was hit.

Given the age of the people responsible i doubt much action will be taken against the offenders, having had a very traumatic experience recently i can 100% state that British justice is a joke and if we could copy at least one thing from muslim countries it should be how they deal with convicted criminals.

Just a quick update guys. I'd managed to buy some vehicles for sale over the last couple of weeks and as a result one person has returned back to work today. Need to get the sales going and get the second guy back to work asap. No news on the delinquents but social workers are involved and a case study is under-way whatever the hell that means.
