just bought myself one of those new netbooks with a ten hour battery, looking forward to testing that out on the plane!

I picked up the ASUS Eee PC for my trip to London and so far I'm quite please with it. It came with Skype which I've used to chat with senors NicWing and Robusto.

Who'd of thought you could do this from my beloved State of Mind, Mexico, Swine Flu free since the 1960s!

Anyhow..a bit of research suggests it might be the Inverter thingy wotsit. which I've delicately wrenched from the bottom of the screen.
I think they can be obtained from fleabay for about a tenner.
In the meantime I'm all alone in the spare bedroom grappling with Mr Babbage

I've put together normal PC base unit's a few times but never messed with laptop's.
