To enable video you need to have the following settings enabled.

You can get to this screen by starting Skype, using the menu options along the top goto Tools > Options > video settings from the tab on the left hand side.
This will bring up the screen below
Make sure the enable video is selected and the start automatically when in a call.

Select the web cam from the drop down option ( change it from default device) if it its working correctly, you should see yourself and not a jedi master!

There is also a settings button for advanced tweaking of contrast etc,

In part 2 we'll talk about reconfiguring your router to stop BT (if used) from slowing your connection down because your using VOIP and not using the phone. Yes! they actually do that!

Glad you liked it, i had to mess up all my webcam settings to make a blue hood look black and me pastey. wanted to do red eyes as well but it's only a screenshot.

So far I have Robusto, BossHog, StogieDog, Mr Moore, TJ and Deano in my user list but no-one ever seems to be online when I am
