4S but you have to JB it to have any sort of customisation whatsoever. I love mine and Siri is pretty f'ing amazing

I think that weight is a bigger factor that size, if you can find 'real' display models to hold that would help you out. I know that with the previous generation (S2 and Sensation) the Samsung was a good bit lighter than the HTC because of the aluminium casing. Not sure if that is still the case with the One X and the S3.

As Stevieboy says, to get a good degree of customisation with an iPhone you have to jailbreak it which, I believe, voids the warranty. If you are used to Android on the wildfire and like it then I'd stick with it. I can't imagine having anything but an Android phone in the future unless an amazing new OS appears from nowhere or Apple's hardware takes a big leap forwards.

I had a Desire for two years but had a few problems with wifi dropping out all the time and some app niggles, swapped to an iPhone 4S which runs smooth as and the camera pic quality is way better. Main reason for swapping though was to be able to facetime with family abroad.

You can get Skype on Android and iPhones to allow use of the forward facing cameras can't you? I think the Desire line was a bit of a blip for HTC, they had their fair share of issues. The Sensation was a big improvement and the One X is even better.

I imagine you'll be getting a few recommendations for the iPhone.

Mine is no different. Didn't want an iPhone to start with, ended up getting one, and haven't gone back since and probably won't. Yes you won't have a customisable operating system, however, if I did have one...I probably wouldn't use it. The iPhone does absolutely everything and anything I need it to. Plus it works seamlessly with all my other apple hardware, so I have no complaints!

Go for the Samsung. Ive got the S11 and its been a very good phone. I run a phone recycling company so have many phones go through my fingers every day. I've had an iphone and it didn't live up to the hype. if its the siri app that interests you you can download an app called "talk to it" for the Samsung s2 and s3. Android is the future, just launched "icecream sandwich" which is sublime, 1000's of free apps and a robust OS
