Welcome, I would recommend a 5.5L lock&lock box Click as the humidor (I use these). For humidification try some humidity beads Click. To humidify the beads I use de-ionised water which I purchase from a local garage. For a hygrometer for the most part I use a Caliber III Click. The tube of beads comes with a mesh bag to put them in, I've found this to be the easiest and most reliable system for keeping cigars.
I own a 150ct humidor that makes a nice ornament in the hallway, unfortunately it is to unreliable to put cigars in compared to tupperdors.
Have a look on Cgars site for the best deals when it comes to purchasing Cubans. I reccomend trying El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme for a first Robusto,
Have a good smoke,

Hello and welcome to you Firstly many congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You've started out on a wonderfully exciting and pleasurable passion and you're about to have some wonderful smoking experiences, especially as was said,if The King Eddie's are what you're used to up until now You'll find this forum friendly, fun and a fantastic resource.I would certainly recommend looking out for some samplers and just have lots of fun trying different brands and sizes etc.I would also strongly endorse your trip to Gauntley's too! The manager there,Glynn,is a great chap who's very knowledgeable and will certainly be very happy to help you navigate these first steps.Best of luck and have fun, that's the most important thing of all"The most futile and disastrous day seems well spent when it is reviewed through the blue, fragrant smoke of a Havana cigar."

Welcome along. I started 2 years ago with King Edwards and moved from them to Montecristo no 4's. You won't believe the difference! Cigar smoking is an expensive hobby but highly rewarding. The pleasure you get from kicking back and enjoying a decent Cuban has to be tried to be believed!!

Welcome Benjy,
It's nice to see some more newcomers.
My personal favourite are the Hoyo De Monterrey Petit Robusto's. A nice light cigar but with plenty of draw.
All depends what size/ring gauge you end up preferring. Can't hurt to try a few though.
Good Luck
