Hi Ben and welcome to the friendliest cigar forum in the UK.
Tell us a bit more about yourself, what do you like to smoke, which is your favorite local cigar store?

Happy to have you join the fun.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Cheers for the welcomes everyone. Nicwing I'm totally wet behind the ears when it comes to cigars and have only ever had king edwards. I'm looking forward to trying some high quality cigars soon (the first being a little something special for my wedding at the end of the month). My local shop is gauntleys in Notts and I'll be taking a trip next week hopefully.

Well if all you have ever had is King Eds be prepared for something infinitely better and tastier when you try a quality hand rolled cigar!
I envy your inexperience as I can still remember when I first discovered quality smokes and the amazing experiences they bring, kind of like losing your virginity! and congrats on your wedding!

Cheers mate. Yeah I stopped smoking 3 years ago but always enjoyed the "eddies" and decided 1 or 2 a month wont hurt too much lol. Any recommendations?

Rammon Allones Small club corona have been my favourite 'normal' smoke so far. A must try in my book!

Hi and welcome, Romeo y Julieta is a place where many start from, but more importantly is that the Cigars have been stored properly.

Greetings! Where abouts in Derby do you live? I had been living there for 3 years, in my opinion, great place! Shame there isn't a cigar shop around those parts.

Look into getting one or two sticks and a humidor to start with. There is lots of info about how to season, etc, just have to rummage around on this fine forum!

Well i'm just out of derby in ripley but am originally from repton. I'm half contemplating buying a sampler pack and a humidor if my budget can stretch to it.

                              Hi and welcome!

Samplers are a good way to try a wide range of cigars easily, and can be pretty good value as well.

If you want to keep the cost down, you don't need to buy a humidor. You can use a Tupperware container (or similar) with some form of humidification (any cigar store, online and otherwise) will sell such items.
