I blame the BBC for getting me hooked on snooker as a kid, Pot Black was religious viewing in our household.
It was great to see the 'old' Stephen Hendry playing, bagging a 147 hopefully gives him the confidence to go far this year. I've always admired his approach to break building.
I agree Mike, Hendry is looking very dangerous. I am a big Ronnie fan though, and I hope he does well this year. I still think that when he's playing at his best, there is simply no one who can touch him.
Jimmy White was my fav player, always loved watching him, he could pull off some great shots.
Hendry is a great and is tough to beat in any tournament.
But the best player i've seen and could watch, day in day out is the Rocket Ronnie O'Sullivan he has a natural touch no other player has, and when on his game he's simply amazing, and no one will beat him....i mean come on, who uses the knuckle on the middle pocket to get position so he can continue his break and win the frame...and racks up a 147 faster than most players take half a dozen shots, i just hope he uses his ability to win more...
