After getting my first humi in August last year and beginning my journey on the quest for a settled RH, i have now located the perfect spot in which it shall sit. Winter was particularly tough and the humidification solution was being used a plenty and at times the stress of the situation was becoming slightly overwhelming. Questions being asked to myself were, is the amount of solution being used going to ruin my cigars, is this bloody hydrometer working, do I pull it out and get the bag and salt out again to calibrate, is my humi any good.
The whole point being my wife who I may add got me said humi as a birthday gift has said that I am beyond the point of no return and she can't belive a grown man with "more important things in life to worry about can be so obsessed with a wooden box and its contents".
The tipping point for this was when on a recent stag doo to Newcastle I drunkenly stumbled upon a cigar shop whilst on route to the train station to get home. Upon arriving home and proudly producing my purchase I almost ran to my humi
With the wife hot on my heels ready to deliver the killer blow.
" what did you get me she asked"
I didn't even answer.
