I have it in mind to go to the festival next February, it's a bit away but...

I'm still up for going to Cuba in a group or whatever if anyone's interested.

7 days in a beach/pool resort all-inclusive Iberostar, than 3 days in Havana B&B in the Parque Central.

Single suppliment circa ?1300. But damn it's good.

I'm thinking end of July/beginning of August.

You won't see much I doubt, unless you're unlucky, most of the really bad weather hits late Aug/Sep.
