U poor souls. In the town I live in there are at least 50 who smoke stogies. Most of my friends are cigar smokers. We have shops dedicated to herfing,weather by yourself or with a dozen . Someone over the pond needs to open a private club and charge a membership yearly fee to join. Every Tuesday nite there is a herf at our beer and cigar shop from 6 to 9 then in warmer weather after the beer distributor closes we get chairs from our cars and sit on their property and continue to herf. My heart goes out to U .

At the cigar lounge the other day, it was explained to me that the lounge is open after work, and that on a Saturday it is PACKED with guys dropping by for a smoke. And it was clear that many of the regulars have become good friends.

There are very few places like this in the UK. I'm envious that you and Larrysputnik, to name two, can go out and smoke with brothers of the leaf.

I think I should stop commenting on threads like this because - nothing to do with you, Mike - it makes me bloody angry if I stew on this and the UK smoking ban.

In small towns like mine, there is no bloody chance.

Hey guys, quick hello to everyone on this. came across this forum today, seems like the place to be for UK smokers. Any one from Glasgow on here?

On the topic, Ive just got one mate round here that likes a regular cigar, It makes a big difference, everyone else is spread around the world now.

apart from that the poker club had a few smokers but the new owners stick to the law and dont allow smoking
