For insulation, have you thought about using that Thermawrap stuff? It's like silver bubble wrap. Can often find it on offer in B&Q or similar.

No i havnt but ill look into it but as of 10 mins ago im happy with it for now.

As the local spider population is pretty high ive ruled out a bedchair and got myself a bigger more powerful heater instead and "installed" a small wine rack and bar.

The stool in the foreground reminds me of one I made in school 23 years ago ! Still going strong.

Spiders are supposed to hate conkers. Scatter a few about should keep most of them away

                          Great thread.
I have a large block shed. One end has dampness, kids bikes, scooters and rubbish to be dumped. However the other end has a rocking chair with rocking footstool, plug in heater, lamp, candle holders, radio for a bit of classical, 3 tier shelf for drink, ash tray etc. Basically i head down every Friday, Saturday and most Sundays for a herf and a glass of whisky and / or an ale or 2.
Wife, kids of dog don't come near it because of the smoke so for an hour or so it's peaceful bliss!!

Look into those polystyrene sheets for insulation, easy to deal with, and cheap.

                              Great job buddy!!

Love the little bar at the front right of the picture!

Damn girls, always getting their way! To be fair though, I don't smoke in the house myself so always looking for inventive ways to be smoking outside. Luckily we have a pool, and the weather is always pretty good here, so I find myself by that a lot....however, I need to figure out some sort of enclosed space for when the few days the weather sucks!

Seeing as it was minus 8 this morning as I arrived at work I'm not jealous of this at all, oh no....
