Im a newbie so unable to help out with regards to humi as only just got my first one.
Keep up the good work with the Talisker and monte's, and get an alarm fitted if you don't already, oh and use it (hmmm, mine does tend to stay off, deterent anyway I guess!)
Talikser was the perfect companion, and kept me sane through the long hours of cleaning yesterday! There is a still a little bit left that will help me through today! Need to top up the white wine as well, the misses has been getting through it like crazy!
I understand your warehouse flat would be hard for you to leave & hopefully your wife will cope with this crime but I would try to be understanding, if after full repair & installation of further security measures she can still not relax & feel secure.
I completely agree. If Im honest, I dont think shell feel comfortable for a long time, even with the beefed up security. Whether we stay here or look at moving, is a decision to be made when some of the dust has settled I feel. Ultimately, its always about keeping the misses happy, otherwise my life ultimately becomes not worth living haha! So we will see in a few weeks time how she feels and what she wants to do in the future. I should probably point out however, for my own good, in case she happens on this and reads this...We arent married haha. I use the term misses, which confuses people, but I guess she may as well be, just no paper to confirm it!

Hey, old and battered you say? Well at least that would fit in perfectly around here right now haha! (Seems easier to joke about it than to stay too upset!). On a serious note, that would be absolutely perfect right now Pantomimehorse! A cooler box would have been the alternative, but there is always something that little bit nicer, opening the humidor lid and staring for hours! I'll PM you a little later when I get home. Seriously though guys, thank you again for all the kind words, grand and very very kind offers, and your overal support. Always makes moments like these that much easier to deal with. No updates to offer with regards to what happened. I hope I can report back soon that the scrots have been caught...fingers crossed! As for me, its just the clean up operation and slowly working through everything bit by bit, and noting whats good, and what needs to be replaced!
It doesn't make sense, burgling you wasn't good enough and they had to smash your place up too? I installed this for my mother CLICK as her mothers day present, it records everything to her computer hard drive and has motion detection. You can set it up to record to a wireless location also, she has already used it to solve one crime and force the council to co operate in matters where it would normaly be one persons word against another. The video is all time stamped and admissable in a court of law, my advice to anyone is to get one installed where you live now. If it happens again you can atleast ID the scumbags that did it.
