When a Montecristo No. 2's good... there's not much can beat it. Dippy #2's... great, but the Monty #2's come ahead.
While the monte 2 is great i find the dip 2s normally have far better construction out of maybe three boxs of each ive only had two plugged dip 2s compared to upwards of 10 monties.
Though the same was true for the dip 4 compared to monte 4.
Monte 2's are great. I should be purchasing a couple monte 2's, dippy 2's and Upmann 2's and leave them for a couple of years then do a comparison between the three. Going to be interesting but it has been on my mind to do a little experiment with the no. 2 range for a month or so now!
Enjoyed a couple of Monte 2's over the weekend. Great smoke, excellent burn, no re-light needed at any stage and lasted about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Very enjoyable
