  • Recommend me some Cuban goodness.

Welp, it would appear that i'm not smoking enough Cuban cigars...this, I feel, is a situation that i need to remedy.

I need some advise on what to go for though as i'm not particularly knowledgeable about these chaps, I currently have half a box of Partegas SDN4, half of RyJ Churchill shorts, a box of Fonseca No 1's (I think) and a few assorted Punches in Tubes.

What would you recommend as a real tasty treat (not Cohiba though), something with lots of flavour and complexity?

    TIA

    Hoyo De Monterrey Petit Robustos
    Partagas P2s

These are my favourite standard production...

      Good suggestions from Deano there

Also try Trinidad Reyes (everyone is in love with these babies atm), Ramon Allones Specially Selected, Bolivar Belicosos Finos or Royal Coronas.

Can't go wrong with any of the above suggestions. I think a Partagas shorts are pretty hot right now too.

Okay time to go on a little spending spree, maybe get a couple of each, see how they go.

Never had a Hoya, so will start with those, a couple of the Bolivar Belicosos Finos and some Ramon Allones Specially Selected if I can find them to get things started off on the right track.

Thanks guys, we'll see how this goes

Trini Reyes, mate - as suggested by SmokeyDave, they're very much 'in style' (and deservedly so, IMHO)

They have both already been mentioned but RASS (Ramon Allones Specially Select) and Partagas shorts are two of my go to smokes and they both pack a bit of strength for someone used to smoking NCs. For something a bit larger I'm a big fan of Vegas Robaina Unicos.

I love the Petit Robustos; good choice. I'd also suggest adding Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 2 to your list. I'm surprised nobody else has suggested it tbh.
