Gotta' go with my little punch buddy...senor CIV

Big fan of the Punch-Punch, but they need a few years on 'em before they are ready to enjoy, IMO!

A decent Brandy goes well with all cigars IMHO....

Be honest, what doesn't go well with a good single malt?

I have a bit of a soft spot for the Punch Punch and the Punch DC. Have smoked quite a few over the years and have had reasonably good luck with draw and construction. I have found that both seem to go very well with a good single malt.(Having said that, I've yet to find a cigar that doesn't!).

That sounds a shame...all three of you have experienced poor construction/tightness...perhaps give Punch a miss for the timebeing.
    Thanks for the feedback, btw.

    **Edit**
I'm glad I grabbed an HDM and a few H. Upman's then - I hope they don't suffer from the same structural issues.
If it's all the same with you guys, I'm going to start fresh posts on both of these manufacturers (similar to this one) and see where experiences go to...

I've got what is left of a box of Petit Punch from '05, every one of them I've had so far has been a very tight draw and there are only three remaining.

Lots of issues with the earlier Punch cigars. Poor construction etc. I've never had a problem with the DC's but stay away from ealier Black Prince. The newer ones may be ok but I wouldn't know as I haven't bought any due to being put off.

I'm not a fan due to the fact that almost every Punch I've smoked has had draw issues (apart from the Italian Diadema RE)....the frustrating thing about Punch is that the flavour is excellent when they do draw well but I never risk it any more...

(I've tried Punch Punch, Petit Punch, DC, Churchill, Black Prince and Diademas)

    Punch Cigars...

    Good afternoon fellow BOTL,

I've yet to explore this make - does anyone fancy making a recommendation for a newbie to start on? Preferably, with an alcoholic drink accompaniment...
