The Cuban Customs can and often do stop people at the security barrier, asking for proof of purchase. Warning notices are in all Cuban ports, factory & LCdH shops- you've been lucky!!!

Cuban customs will usually want to see a Facteur (Invoice) from a regulated (Government approved) store for any unopened boxes of cigars. If they search your case and you don't have one you are liable to have them confiscated on the assumption that they are 'hooky'Nic

Yes, many, many, times & yes, I still have all the official reciepts.
One day I plan to roll all the reciepts into a vintage 60 guage stick, and sell it as hand made by a Cuban friend who works in a factory. Can't be any worse than some of the rubbish with new fangled namesCigars & Forums mean all things to all men !

No offense to the original poster, bit if I was a scammer and was planning of shifting a few fake cigars (I’m not) this is how I would see it going
i.e. I don’t know much about cigars…. I went to cuba and got some cigars…… not sure what they are or how much they cost (but I got them from a factory, so they are 100% legit!)…… Can’t remember what I did with the documentation…… I might sell these Cohiba because they might not be to my taste etc.. etc.. etc..
Might not be, just seems a little fishy to me.Osteopathic Health Centre Buckhurst Hill - 07949 446963 - gdosteopathy.co.uk
