Birthday box

The missus has offered to buy me a box of cigars for my birthday.
I have a few in mind but I can only get one box.
I was thinking one of these;

SIGLO VI X 10
RYJ CHURCHILLS X 10
RASS X 25
COHIBA GENIOS X 10
CUABA SALAMONES X 10
BOLI ROYAL CORONA X 25

This box will be put away for 2-5 years. Any suggestions? Cheers Lee

The Siglos!! They're a helluva price and because of that are one of my now-and-again smokes....mind you, you can't go wrong with any of the others esp. the RASS

If I could only smoke one of those cigars again for the rest of my life I would pick the RASS, I'm loving them right now and certainly prefer them to the Boli RC.

I would also steer clear of the Cuaba Salamones, I've tried a few Cuaba and the only ones I've enjoyed are the 2008 ELs.

Haha, this would be a pretty boring forum if we agreed all the time

I've tried several Cuaba including 4/5 Salomones and just found them tasteless with the odd hint of cardboard! Do they need a lot of age?

As for the Boli RC and the RASS it's a close call I suppose. I've had great RCs but I've also had really dissapointing RCs, whereas I've had many fantastic RASS and never had one that dipped below really good hence the "If I could only smoke one..." comment.

The Salamones has had great reviews and is a horse of a cigar. Its one of my top 3 next box buys.
The Mag 50 has sprung to my attention also but often described as inconsistent.
The Siglo VI is calling to me though, I may well pull the trigger when the missus gives me the nod.

arrrgggghh....... what's going on here? lol!!! lee, take it from me, i've bought 3 boxes of 10 h upmann magnum 50's from 2008 and they have all be SUPERB!!! bang on the money every time!!! take it from me, as much as i love cohiba siglo 6's, i find them inconsistent, to the point i'd say that you'd get maybe 6 good ones in a box of 10!!! however, when you get a good one........ oh my word, it's total ecstasy (well, as ecstatic as cigar smoking can get, lol)!!!

anyway, best of luck with whatever you choose mate!!! please let us know what you opt for......

could not agree more Alex about the magnum 50 from 08 will be keeping a eye out for more from that year
