    Sirs,
I thought it was time to devote a post to my most beloved of cigars, and always a staunch ally in all stressful times. I am yet to be let down by an epi 2, these days I feel like that opening waft of warm roasting hazelnuts and burnt caramel is like spending time with an old and beloved friend. As always, what are your thoughts on the matter, are they as much a friend to you as they are to me?

This is my goto cigar. I have 50 in the humi. They do need a little age though. I'd say after 1.5 to 2 years they really start smoking well. Three years is heaven.

Wish I could make them last 3 years, great smoke every time!

Got into these after Monte No4's. These were my high day smoke & still love them. Try aging some, they get remarkable better with age. Here's a few from the library:

Used to smoke these over and over and over, to the point that now they do nothing for me at all! Partgas P2 and Monte 2 are my go-to cigars now.

Surely it's time these beauties were honoured with a "Reserva" or even "Gran Reserva" selection...

These are the reason I got into epi especials, I just wanted a longer lasting epi 2 ( granted they aren't the same but also not too dissimilar)

Looking for Monte Sublimes if you have any?

This thread reminded me of a box of Epi 2's I had stashed away.. One a nice sunny albeit a little chilly evening I fired one up- nice!

I've only had one of these so far, most agreeable it was too.

Maybe time for a few more now I have the humidor space to accommodate!
