Picked one of these up in Davidoff this afternoon. Went across the road and sat outside Franco's in jermyn st with a nice cappuccino in the sunshine. A very enjoyable but admittedly light smoke which possibly reflected the moment as much as anything else. Maybe I'll try one when I'm pissed off and see what I make of it then, ha,ha

Ok - smoked another one on Saturday with a less positive experience. It came a a recent gift so I don't know the box code. What I do know is it was a poor relation to the first one I smoked. Great construction and draw just very little in the way of taste. Mild and pleasant but none of the creamyness and complexity I had from my first one.

Got to say it was a big disappointment and once again I suspect it is a case of the first boxes being of a significantly higher standard then the ones that follow. I had been contemplating putting down a box but I will only do so if I can find one with a really early number.

What a shame, I'm sorry you hit on a bitter disappointment. How early are you talking re-box code?

First 20 boxes would be nice.

When was it released? Would they be impossible to come by?

It was a 2009 release, there appear to be plenty around. With the regional it is a bit easier as each box is numbered xxxx/2000 so I just need to find one of the early numbers: 23/2000 for example.
