I read this elsewhere and it is the single most inspiring cigar review I have ever come across. Nino is the man!Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these

The Flying Cigar is a great site. However I don't find this review appealling to me & am I the only one thinking 4hrs for a DC! 2hrs fine, 2 1/2 if I smoke to the butt as the reviewer did but can anyone here make a DC last 3hrs? And would you want too?
Big Barney, you love SLR DC's, what do you think?Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

I met Arlid for a cigar back in September, he took over three hours on a Trinidad Fundador, it's how he smokes them. He and his girlfriend Ida are really nice people. We had a lovely night.
As for Nino, fantastic site run by a fantasic guy. I hope to be having a cigar and an anejo or two with him very soon.

Have been a big fan of Nino's site for a couple of years now or more, although I do miss his reports from around the globe that he used to do when he was a pilot, however I wouldn't deny the man his retirement , well earned I'd imagine!"The best cigar you'll ever smoke is the one you're smoking at the minute" - Zino Davidoff

Hi Ryan, I have often wondered about some of the long times MRN quotes for smoking some very small, slim cigars. As you watched Arlid take 3 hrs on a Fundador, can you recall if he needed may re-lights? Difficult to imagine you could draw so gently & still keep it alight.
I guess it certianly maximises the entertainment for the cost of your cigar but I think one main reasons that we smoke few DC's, is the trouble we have to find 2hrs+ to smoke one. Finding 4 hrs would be beyond most of us.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.
