Cigars from 1971....?

I am hitting the big four zero this year so I would like to celebrate with a cigar from 1971.

So, I have two questions I need help with-

1. What cigars from 1971 should I be looking for?
2. Where would I obtain such a cigar with a specific box date?

All help would be grateful.

With you on that one El Cat, 40 seems like a long time ago, and 60 not as far of as i would like, were they making cigars in 1955?, pmsl, well just piss myself most of the time laughing or not.

In the pre date code times you can only go on the provenance of the cigars as to what year they are from. I have cigars that I know come from the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's but as to which specific year it is really difficult unless the boxes have been marked in some way by the original owner to indicate the year they were bought.

Bugger, so I will be looking for a 1970's cigar then...
