as a reply to monkeys question at the moment iam storing them in the vegy section of my fridge. is this good or a bad and how long will they last.

Better than storing them elsewhere at present! They are all worth keeping IMHO far better than the KE's.
The question is where have they been stored before? If your serious about the cigars you will need to sort out a humidor or tupperdore for them..plenty of information on this site, look for stickies at the top of the threads or use the search box..
Don't even think of throwing them away yet!

That is a very BAD thing. The salad section is NOT cold enough to keep them frozen (and out of harms way as a temporary measure) also, the salad section will be moist .... and that is positively dangerous.

You need a a properly regulated tuppador at the very least or a humi cabinet.

It is a bit of a bigger subject than that Marc, I suggest you do some searching, look around and a whole world of smokes will open up to you.

You are killing your cigars. In the fridge they will dry to a non-return point (oils gone).

The cigar equivalent of inheriting an Aston martin DB5... sticking a tow-bar on it, running it on diesel and leaving it parked on an unlit street... and then asking 'is it valuable'?

Yes they are good good cigar brands, as to the state of the cigars after sitting with celery and cucumber in a fridge, who knows?

Better than the brands you mentioned? Purely subjective, one mans ambrosia is anothers pig slurry!

I honestly hope this is a wind up and if he has the original cigars in those boxes they're in a humidor and not in a fridge with half a head of stringy brown lettuce!

I guess I have to agree with senor littlestick on this one. Storing your fine puros in the fridge is a classic rookie...errr, I mean knewbee mistake.
