Been sitting on a box of these(not literally) for a long while now and TBH they sat and the back of the humi and I never paid them much attention.
I think my hesitance to smoke them was based on my initial dislike to the later Mag 50 release which I smoked when they first came onto the market, when they were probably too young.
I finally gave into temptation and tried the first one a couple of nights ago and they have turned out to be a fantastic smoke; not too strong, but more subtle and refined with some real nice hints of vanilla and Nuts for the first two thirds of the cigar. Not a great amount of smoke while they are burning but they do smoke smooth and consistant and you cannot ask for better than that. I have always appreciated the Upmann taste profile and this particular cigar epitomises what a good brand Upmann cigars can be with some age on them.
I had noticed that they featured in the top 5 at Cigars-Review.org for some time and now I fully understand why. Not the easiest of cigars to source, but if you can find some then I would advise trying them out.
