A few things, Mo. I cannot conclude they are fake from pictures. But the bands do look dodgy. The line at the bottom of the Cs in Cuba in the middle cigars and the spacing between the comma and Habana and Cuba -- very bad.

That is 100% mold. Anybody who buys their cigars in the Mediterranean where the humidity gets very high will tell you that. In fact, La Casa Del Habano makes brushes with their logo to wipe off mold in those countries.

Plume would be evenly distributed about the cigar and would not be present in cigars boxed six months ago. It is nonsense. Ajay is right. Challenge the charge and remind them of their satisfaction guarantee.

In these times, believe me, they do not want to antagonize non U.S. clients.

Nothing to report really, sent them back and now just waiting for them to be received and my refund processed. Otherwise i'll be claiming the money back from the CC company.

On a positive note, i have found a supplier that is selling genuine CoRo's

The logos are engraved and inked at the same time with a special "press machine" ? I'm afraid I'm unable to describe the process in plain, proper english?
I've been told that they use a special Heidelberg machine (Heidelberg presses are famous in the printing industry) but of course I haven't seen it - no public admittance in these parts of the factories!

It will be the bands and labels that are printed,embossed and die cut on a Heidelberg, the embossing of the boxes would have to be done on some other pressing type machine as the feed and delivery on a Platen would not cope with the thickness of the material

just picked up on this thread & I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune, Merry Xmas anyway... I'm sure this incident won't have stopped you enjoying yourself!
Just one pointer from me, mould/plume, fake/real... none of that matters!
If you had been in a shop you would not have bought them so you're doing the right thing in asking for your money back. As consumers we should not accept anything sub-standard irrespective of any excuse & the cigar traders & manufacturers should take note of this.

lots of people dont realise there rights on online sales if this was purchased in the EU
it is covered by the distance selling regulations.
under these you are entitled to return with no explanation and can have a refund immediately, the seller should pay any return postage fees you are also not obliged to return the item for your refund but only to make it available for the seller to collect

Just been on the royalmail website the package still hasnt been delivered

Its been 17 days since i posted it so i will be waiting till the end of next week before making a claim from royalmail.

Worst cigar experience ever for me.

Best of luck Mo. Before you make your claim I'd double check by an email with the seller that they haven't received them as the royal mail tracking is less than brilliant, throw in overseas mail agencies and they practically fall over. I've had packages delivered but tracking says no and vice versa before.
