  • Saturday 30th Nov is Churchill's150rh anniversary of his birth

Let's see as many members as possible smoking something suitable to mark the occasion. I'll be smoking a R&JCH, others might chose a Sir Winnie or just any Churchill you have.

The jjfox annual celebration was yesterday, I had a previous engagement planned. Anyone go?

I won't get a chance tomorrow to enjoy a cigar, maybe late evening. But I'll be sure to raise a glass and hope for better times ahead.

Andreas, historian and fellow cigar smoker I've met him once or twice at cgars st James, is publishing a lot of Churchill content might be of interest https://linktr.ee/andreas_koureas?ut...f-915b380a8167

And I know it's been mentioned a couple of times. We've lost the Churchill book pass that was doing the rounds long ago. Never did find it did we?

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Smoked this gem, the perfect example of this vitola. Couldn't believe it when someone sent me this find from Davidoff of London. I paid e25 back in 2016, & I thought that was steep! A friend asked me how much they'd cost today & I replied confidently, £100+.

But £400 to me is that they have some, they don't expect to sell them but f such a fool actually buys one, Davidoff's are laughing all the way to the bank.

Now what to do with the rest, stick or twist?
