Any LE's worth buying?

I'll be off to visit our alpine friends soon and may pick up some LE's when I'm there. I have some Dukes & Monte Sublimes - any others from the recent crop worth bothering with?

The Partagas Serie D Especial is the current front-runner, but I'm open to suggestions.

If it was me heading abroad, I'd be stocking up on the "normal stuff"
According to some web sites the Nov 09 Monte No2's are to die for, and I believe all production late 09 is very good.
The reason for this (according to the experts) is that production is way down in Cuba, and the Quality of Tobacco available to the factorys, is high.

Pick up some Partagas D5s if you find any. They are no longer available from H&F...

If by any chance they have LE’s from years past like Eddie mentions then I would keep an eye out for the Montecristo Robusto 2006 (there was also a 2000 release of this but surely you won’t find them) and a passion of mine, the Partagas Serie D No. 1 from 2004. I still need to get some of the Monty Sublimes myself.

Of course what I really want is the Por Larranaga Magnificos, but I doubt I'll find those! I'll have a look at the 48's - I've had some 50's laid down for a while and these are lovely atm.

So many choices, so little cash!

I may have a think about the Monte 2's Steve - I have heard good things about them recently and I know the LE's don't always give much bang for buck. I was thinking of going for some more Dukes or Sublimes but I have so many of them already it would just be greedy!
