Herman Upmann was a German Banker, living in Cuba, who produced cigars on the side - as you do! I guess the type cast cartoon of a banker with a cigar, had to come from somewhere.
Started in 1844, classed as Light to Medium strength tobacco, has a significant percentage of hte Cuban market share. Has had many recent releases to help keep it's profile current & attractive.

Connoisseur No1 Hermosa No4 48 x 5" Pre 60's - Still in production Commonly called Connie No1.
SLB x25, is always a mark of class & quality. Personally I can't recall a bad one.
Pre bands <2005 No1's. Smoked in 2011, in my local Antwerp Cafe & 20018 outside a Bournemouth Cafe.

Cornas Junior Cadetes 36 x 4 1/2" Pre 60's, still current. New tubes 2007.

Epicures Epicures 35 x 4 3/8 Pre 60's - Current. Until 2003, was machine made.
Dress box x25, Dress box x 25 in cello was discontinued 2002. Cardboard pack x3 discontinued 2009.
This partial box was a great buy, everyone a gem.

SLB x 25, x50 discontinued 2009.
My first MAg No46, bought in th eTabac in Calpe, & smoked in my SIL's beachside cafe, with el Penon as a backdrop.

Magnum 50 Double Robusto 50 x 5 1/2" 2008 release, 2009 tubes. Originally a Specially release that proved popular.
SLB of 10 & 25, 50 discontinued 2012.
My first Mag 50 was a gift from Vangelis, our then Greek member in 2011. He was very fond of these, didn't do much for me however.
