  • Alternatives to Monte Petit Edmundo

Hi folks I’m fairly new to cigar smoking but know I like Monte Petit Edmundo. I’m in Havana atm and looking to buy some cigars. If I can find any of MPE, any alternative suggestions?

Also need some same sort of length but slightly narrower gauge. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

You could try finding some Partagas D5s, they're pretty good. Slightly lighter flavour and strength but still very good, is the Hoyo Petit Robusto. Enjoy your trip and happy cigar hunting.

Slightly narrower and bit longer are petit coronas - Bolivar PC, H Upmann Regalias, Por Larranaga 50 cab of PC's!

PL Galanes are another Petite Robusto as another MPE alternative. or QDO 50.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

a few alternatives... Trinidad Vigia, Monte Medio Corona, and Cohiba Medio Siglo.
All slightly different sizes but not hugely different, and all worth a roll of the dice.

            Hugely different prices though!

Thanks all 👍 I’ve opted for Partagas D no.6 after trying one in La Casa del Habana. Nice size for me and went very nicely with double espresso. Can’t wait to try with Dalmore Cigar Malt when I get home 🥃

Thanks all for your help. I’m here another week so will seek out your suggestions and try them as singles if poss
