Still ongoing...
The Partagas festival is on now. The big Habanos festival is in Feb. Someone said they hiked the gala dinner cost tenfold. They trying to run the country's economy on cigars?
The Habanos gala dinner will not be $5,000 next year. The person who said that is wrong. It was $1,250 this year. It might be $1,500 next year.
Cuba still has lots of problems, but there are opportunities too.
I know people who have to go to Honduras for cigar business, they have security meet them at the airport. I have a driver meet me in Havana, and he drops me at at a bar. Then I walk to my apartment.

Also just seen this on another forum... The prices above are indeed pre the official price increases due any month now...
Cohiba, BHK and other high-priced editions increase by around 5%.
Regular/Standard between 10-15%. Exceptions here are Piedras, Rafael Gonzalez and Quintero with ~5%.

This shows how bad things are getting, not exactly green shoots. If you look at other articles over the last year on this site, you'll see a continuing downward spiral.Fuel in Cuba to become five times more expensive - BBC News

Halfwheel have produced a percentage list of the increases here https://halfwheel.com/cuban-cigar-pr...r-2024/434044/
Generally a lot worse than I would have thought. These are Spanish price increases.
Cuaba tops the list with a 22% increase.
