Because the maduro 5 is a line totally outside to the regular taste of Cohiba.If i give you a maduro 5 without band and a limited edition maduro wrapper same size withoutband is very very hard say wich is the cohiba.But if you give to someone a cohiba classic without band or a partagas or what you wont without band you can say (my be not a cohiba ) but you can understand real differents betwen them.......

Maduro are not good cohiba.This is my opinion,than i am happy that there are othres different opinion...the world is beautifull for this!!

I could only afford the one I have because it was free with a box purchase from a retailer's promotion. I can't bring myself to smoke it though. With CA's recent prediction of it having "tremendous aging potential," I figure it will only get better? I hope...

I'm with Liliboo and Larry on this one .... all a bit too Champions League for me! Might be able to afford to own one .... but can't afford to smoke it!

O.K. I can't disagree with that. It's not the typical Cohiba flavour profile.
Though I'd rate my chances at a 'blind' tasting.
I suspect the construction alone would be enough to give it away. I'm old enough to remember the 'bad-old-days' of the 2001 pyramide (talk about plugged!), thankfully quality control seems much improved.
