If you could only pick one between the two of these what would it be and why?

To my recollection I've only smoked one of each, and going on that I'd plump for the JLP, simply because I found the wrapper on the Quintero a little too delicate for my mega-hands.
[EDIT] Flavourwise, I don't remember either being awful. Flip a coin!

C was not an option given by the OP so make a choice or dont post, not that hard really. Before the elitism sets in again I'll also say Villagers & Swishers are classified as cigars as well and this is a cigar forum after all. I dont smoke them but each to their own.
Since the wife prefers JLP's then I'd have to say them. Reasonable yard cigars methinks but Quintero's are way over rated. At least a JLP is honest. What would I know? I'm just a backwoods roo packin crim from New Holland! LOL. (Thankyou El Cat)

use an euphemism for say that it is a good race between cigars low quality.if i had to choose I would opt for slightly higher quintero organoleptically. But I think that while remaining on cigars as a second band could go on Fonseca much better quality and much more fun to smoke. Invictos, and n1 especially ...
Best

Piedras are the only smokes I've tried out of the two options you gave, so I would have to say they are what I would choose as a preference if I had to.Business in the front. Party in the back.
