I hate the look of the box but I’m very keen to try that cigare. Have they been released somewhere yet Matt? I’m on the train to Germany, it would be nice to buy a few boxes there....

launched today i think... the box is the same green as RA dress boxes. The other perfecto RA LE/RE have been superb. the RE: ITALIA are superb...

Ok. I guess that I’ll have to wait a little longer then.

Italy was a joke. They had at least 50 cabs of the ManTua at the LCDH. All reserved of course, as always. Then I spotted some nice stuff on the upper shelves and started pointing and I got a all reserved, the same with the lower shelves. They had maybe 100 boxes of stuff that actually was for sale. I have more boxes in my stash.

All the other stores I visited had tiny or small selection of CC but nothing really interesting.

It’s always the same, everything good seems to be reserved. Is it just an excuse to sell only to selected customers or have Italian cigar smokers never heard of humidors and cabinets and they have to stock their cigars at the LCDH?

I think that I have learned now not to hope for anything the next time I go to Italy. One is better off sourcing the REs by email from there.

I've visitedMilan, Naples and Rome in recent years and all 3 cities were a bit of a bust unfortunately especially LCdH in Rome.... Empty shelves. Quite tragic really.

Yes. I’m wondering where the Italians buy their cigars. Florence was the same. A few tubos here and there, some Mille Fleurs and other cheap sticks but not much else. Every town I’ve been to in Italy was a cigar dessert. I though thatI would get lucky in Como because a lot of people with money pass through there and the best store I found maybe had 150 sticks for sale, most of them were Quintero.
