Well, September's here and whilst I wish it were the place I was thinking about for winter, it's the cigar.
Been through my short smokes. I reckon I've enough to last for a while, but was thinking of supplementing the tuppador with maybe one more box.
Robusto's I know are the generally preferred winter size smoke, but I don't get along with them all that well. (Especially PD4's, although I'm not giving up and will try them again sometime).
My preferred cigars are the longer Laguito sized types, but the downside of these is that they are best smoked during the Summer, generally taking around an hour or longer to finish, and which is far longer than I want to be spending on freezing cold nights, bundled up in an overcoat, freezing my balls off out in the conservatory.
Now, I've never tried one (as singles for some reason aren't easy to come by in the UK — CGARS, JJ's et al take note!) but plenty of BOTL on here praise up the PL Montecarlos. And at 6.2inches on a 33 gauge I was thinking that just might be OK as an additional Winter smoke.
Can anyone chip in with the smoke time on these .... and would they consider them a safe buy?
