  • What should I order next?

I am not a big fan of Cohiba, have tried almost all Montis, love the RyJ Churchill, have Trinis, didn't like PSD4, have Hoyo Epicure special.

That's why I was thinking of what to order next and was thinking of RyJ Cazadores. What do people think of RyJ Cazadores? I've heard it a strong smoke.

But how does it taste? worth buying a box. Haven't found anywhere that sell singles of this cigar.

If not this cigar, any other brand/size you would recommend?

    Thanks

I like the cazadores, nice and earthy, i wouldnt say its to strong but definatley not full flavoured (in my opinion)

I think there a good buy too.

    Cgras ltd sell singles

I would suggest the RyJ Belicoso or Exhibition #4 if you like the Churchill.
Cazadores, I would not suggest if you are somewhat new to smoking.

The Ex4 is one of very few cigars that I've bought multiple 50 cabinets of.
      They are that dependable.

I love some of the RyJ line as well. If you like the standard churchill but after something a bit stronger try the Duke (think a strong churchill with warm christmas spice flavour). Also try the short and wide churchill as well, both different takes on the classic RyJ foundation.

I like the Exhibicion #3 too.

Other suggestions: JL #2, Bolivar royal corona or belicoso fino or Inmensas, H. Upmann No.2 or Mag 46 or Connoisseur No.1?

Gotta agree with some of my learned colleagues that the RyJ Duke is a very nice cigar. The new Wide Churchill is also pretty nice considering its very young and I fancy that with a bit of time on 'em they'll be great.

How about a nice safe bet? Punch Punch.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.

Actually, I am not a new smoker, I've been smoking for more than 20 years. But I've only been sticking to one brand, Monti #4, and try another cigar, once in a while.

For some reason, as much as I love cuban smoke, the LEs don't do anything for me and they taste more like a non cuban to me (anybody else feels the same way?). I've tried a few LEs including Duke, but as much as I think and understand that it's a nice smoke, but I would still prefer a non-LE.

I think I 've now realized why I wanted to try the RyJ Cazadores. I guess I want a more flavor full cigar and since I had heard that this is a strong smoke, I just assumed stronger means more flavorfull.

I don't know about more like an NC, but I certainly don't think the LEs are all they're cracked up to be. You tried the Bolivar Royal Corona or the Ramon Allones Specially Selected? If you're looking for a stronger-flavoured, rich cigar I would definitely give the Boli RC a go.

How about a Punch Royal Seleccion No.11...

                        Damned fine smoke...

Has the character/flavour profile of a well aged vintage cigar

                        Cheers, HabanoSy

                            hey joeray,
lately, i have been mostly smoking bolivars (bolivars and partagas are currently my favourite cuban cigars)!!! if you like the ryj churchill, try the bolivar gigantes!!!!
Following on from the R&J Churchill review the guys at www.friendsofhabanos.com compare it up against the Bolivar Corona Giagantes. Is this the best Cuban ...

i would also heavily recommend the royal corona & gold medal!!!! both fantastic, consistent cigars!!!

btw, here's the FOH review of the ryj cazadores!!! if this doesn't sell it to you, nothing will:

also, what about the vegas robaina range? or the h upmann's?

                            all the best,

                            alex
