  • JL2

Had another one today - good cigar, but it's no PSD4.

I know a few on here absolutely adore it, and it's better that a lot of Robustos, but PSD4 for me.

Agreed! I really like the JL2 but if I had to choose one...the PSD4
      absolutely blows it away.

        Wrong....FACT

Seriously though lads, they're both excellent cigars but I've had one or two blands D4s but never a bad JL2....

Smoked some fantastic unbanded JL2's from 2000 and earlier, not had a recent production stick come close to those.

Have smoked some excellent SD4's from 2000 and have a great 2006 box on the go.

Some might say they have been toned down a tad but the SD4 would always get a Champions League place at the end of the season, the JL2 would probably get into the Europa League.

I have had so many bland D4s that I quit purchasing them in 2005?

Among the strongest robustos, the RASS is more reliable IMO?

RASS is reliable but not as exciting as the JL2 IMO. My experience of the D4 has been variable too. JL2 or BRC are best in class in my book.

Need to get me some BRC's - not had any before, and they keep getting highly rated on here.

Try to get some aged ones if possible. I found that anything in the last year or two is nothing but pepper.

Definitely do it, a really, really good robusto. Very creamy, spicy and subtly powerful.

How old should these babies be, muchacho dot? 4,5, 10 years old???

But seriously folks, all puros benefit from age, and after a year or two most are ready for the show.

Regarding the Bolivar Royal Corona (I like to spell it out for the ), they are a fabulous, go-to stogie for me and me mates. Never a dissapointment.

Now th RASS in another fine puro - the poor hombre's BRC, if you will

Hey Bag Boy! I likz me some pepper in me puros!

You know what they say, the older the berry the sweeter the juice! (or is that the blacker the berry???) Anyway I like my Bolis old, ideally with 10 years on em. I wont smoke one with less than 5 years.
