Yes ..... think I agree Steve ..... that 2000 date's a bit too chancy ..... poor crop and bags of inexperienced torcedors employed on the expectation of a bumper year (which didn't happen) .... I know Habanos had to step-in and were supposed to have re-checked and re-sorted everything before allowing it out ..... but can you 'trust' em!

I agree, stay away from that year and a little later if poss. There are still 98's available, I've smoked through a couple of boxes of these, nice 20-30 minute cigar, nothing amazing but better than some more expensive wee sticks I have tried.
Forget them! The Bachilleres is by far the less interesting cigar in the SP line, and those from the "bad years" often have ugly veiny wrappers? bleh ?
