Bolivar Petit Coronas?

Hi guys! I heard news that Habanos S.A. might be discontinuing the 50-cab packaging style for some reason... Maybe boxes of 25 are more "recession-friendly?" Anyway, since I've now tried a Bolivar Gold Medal and a Belicosos Finos, I'm really digging the spicy, earthy flavors that Bolivars have. I couldn't find much on the Boli PC's, but I know a lot of people from another forum that said they are a staple in their humi's.

Anyone have any experience/input with these? Aging potential? Do they smoke well young? Would you recommend something different in the Boli line for someone who is moving away from mild smokes and starting to enjoy medium-full flavor/strength cigars? I'm thinking of buying a 50 cab of these just to keep around and sit on. I hear cabs are the best way to buy cigars, and man; 50 sticks? Haha, I might actually be able to age some! :P Thanks guys!

Rumor has it that the 2008 Boli PC's are great smokes.

Personally I prefer the Boli Corona JR's. A slightly shorter & stronger smoke that has been more consistant over the years IMO.

No deletions to the Boli PC that I know of Isaac .... packaging wise or other wise. A wee bit strong for me but yes it is a humi staple. A good man for info on these is Alex .... he eats them!

Had one of these last night with a couple of years on it from resting in my humidor. It was a spicy bitch, and one of 25.

Absolutely love these cigars. Spend your money on them now and don't give it a second thought.

I can't see Bolivar not making the PC's. Most of the BOTL I have talked to have like that size a lot

I love the RC, and I do prefer the CJ over the PC. I am im the camp of GM lovers. I do think this cigar should be a staple. The smaller '09 Bolis have smoked well ROTT, the larger Bolis, while still delish, do benefit from some extra time in the humidor, preferably 1 yr, for me.
I do not generally recommend the smaller Boli tubos, but the recent 10ct Boli RC T/A has been as good as the Rc in 25ct.
Yes, cabs are nice to lay down, space permitting.

Guys, I apologize! I misread this blog: http://blog.club-passion-habanos.com/?p=427 which states, "Some cigars have been discontinued in the 50-cab size, like the Bolivar Gigantes" or something to that extent. So the verdict is out! My next purchase will be a 50 cab of these bad boys! Thanks for the input fellas!

Also if you get the chance? (bacause they are now disco'd and hard to find) Give the Bolivar Bonita a try. The box of 07's a bought are excellent and almost gone now.

Have tried a fair few of the Bolivar PCs and they pack a helluva punch....the strongest Boli IMO. Buy some singles first....
