Interesting, take a Monte Sublime LE and shove a Edmundo Dante RE band on it and watch the price go up. I'll have to wait and see what the initial reviews are on this one.
you wont say that when you smoke a dante mate! completely different cigar! shouldnt even be associated with monte imo.
if its anything like the two previous 109 releases... easily 95/100
[QUOTE=simonjgriffithshr;101073]I agree with you there Gary. It'd be nice to see a little more variation, and a few more slender offerings. I like that we've got the opportunity to try the slimmest of this years offerings, the Britanicas, but thought the amount of interest in a slim cigar (on here, when asked), might have left us with something a little more interesting.
Seconded. Something along the lines of the Boli Especiales No.2 that Germany was lucky enough to get last year. (Why is it always the Germans? ).
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
Leftovers from the USSR, I believe... Women in, what was, East Germany are essentially men. As such they smoke cigars like a Cuban Don (and weightlift like a Belarusian power-house). However, after the country opened up to the civilised world, and the likes of Vogue magazine, it has become fashionable to have little accessories and it's considered 'un-feminine' to wander around with a Churchill hanging out of your mouth. Hence the slimmer gauges in Germany - allows the women to continue smoking, without a large, manly accessory.
Speaking of Regionals, I just tried one of my gift Punch Robustos, Edicion Regional Suiza from 2008 and despite a bit of youth showing near the nub, I was reluctant to put it down. Great easy draw and perfect straight burn and loads of smooth Punch flavours from the first puff. If I had the budget, I'd want a box of these.
