Out of all the regular Cohiba's the Esplendido and IV are my favourites. I just can't get to grips with the VI, I've had quite a few, and they all smoke perfectly, a great draw, no burn problems whatsoever, no touching up with the lighter required. But, I'm just not that keen on them at all. Others love them, everybody has different tastes though, so what works for one person won't for the next.

Gotta remember that with Cohibas, there is a distinct difference between the "regular line" -including the Robusto, Lancero and Espl?ndido and the Siglo and Maduro lines. Different tobacco processing, different blends.

FWIW, I've never had a decent Robusto but the Siglo IV has always satisfied.
One of the best Churchills I've smoked was a gift Espl?ndido in Europe (I hesitate to pay that much for a cigar) and I avoid Lanceros for price reasons and because the custom rollers I've patronized have better Lanceros at a fraction of the price.

Never hesitate to sample any cigar you can. You never know when you might discover your favorite.

I was going to mention that too; Siglo line - I to VI (introduced 1992) quite different to the classic line - Coronas Especiales, Lanceros, Robustos Panetelas, Esplendidos, Exquisitos (introduced 1989).

The Maduros (Genios, Magicos, Secretos) were released in 2007 and are again very different.

Best suggestion would be to try one example from each range to start with.

Then, of course, we have the 2010 BHK's...... different again.

One of the LE's (2006 piramides) is still quite available and fantastic (in my opinion). I've not managed to find the 2003 version of these though.

Personally, I love them all (very few disappointments here), the only ones I haven't tried are the special releases (sublimes, Gran Reserva), although I do have a few sublimes extra from the 2008 book standing by for a rainy day
