Okay, so I have been using the same online source for about seven or eight purchases. I assumed they were real because I live close to Canada and can compare a stick from LCDH to the ones in the box and they are identical. The only time I have been disappointed is by the one I didn't compare. I finally went out and got a blacklight to check the seals and the box I didn't care for had a seal that didn't light up, and one that I had been aging. However, the one I had been aging was the second box of the same thing I had bought from the source, and the first one lit up like a christmas tree. Awhile back I had spilled some saline humidity solution on the two seals that didn't light up, could it be that this reduced the flouresence of the seal and they are still legit, or could you say that these two boxes aren't real. I just find it weird that since everything else I have gotten from them has tasted and looked the same, as the ones from LCDH in Canada and had seals that showed under a blacklight, but these two didn't. Any help???

Look Closer, Amigo
Muchacho, I deleted the duplicate thread you posted on the "Cigar Discussion" forum and moved the only response (#3) to this thread.
Regarding your question, the watermark on newer seals is much lighter and pale-pink compared to the bright lime-green on the older seals. It won't jump out at you like the old seals. Take a closer look at the newer seal under a UV black light.
See the the older/newer seals in pics below

The dates on the bottom of the two boxes in question are May and October 2007, which seals should they have?Last edited by tjhernandez43; 06-05-2010, 03:18 AM.
