Just got the nod that the roller will be at Davidoff from Monday next week (24th - 29th May 10:00am - 5:00pm).

So be there or be square!

    Looking forward to this video.

What exactly is the "sick" period? Also how come people are smoking freshly rolled cigars? I thought all cigars needed to be rested?

Just been over to the Roller in Covent Garden and got myself two freshly rolled Churchill's, the deal over there is spend ?18 on any stock cigars get a fresh rolled for ?3 which is quite good IMO.

I took a video of the process from start to finish, will upload it later on.

    This boy can really roll.

I picked up one of his finest at Sautter on Tuesday, (only ?15 each and going fast) and it has been burning a hole in my Humidor ever since.

I have had fresh rolled cigars before (from Sam Leccia and one a friend gave me from the festival) but I never got to them before they went sick and I was determined to smoke this inside a week.

It cut beautifully a real moist yielding to the cutter. The stick felt very light for the gauge and it was a phat one.

One of the first thing you have to say was that it smelled bloody wonderful, downright musty and rude.

It drew really easily unlit and after three matches it was glowing well. The smoke just billowed and was fabulous.

It smoked smoothly and smelled fantastic.

I can't do the taste comparisons but I can say that i shall be following the rollers travels with great interest and popping in to see him at every possible opportunity for more of these wonderful sticks.

I called Johnny and I can confirm he was having a well earned days rest today and will be back at his desk on Friday and Saturday, be sure to catch up with him.

For full listings of all the confirmed dates for Anibal's tour take a look at the events section of the www.cigars.co.uk website. This is subject to some changes but should give you a good idea of where he will be.
Thanks Jimmy, Looking forward to it.
