  • Odd warranty seal placement

I just recieved a box of Montecristo Edmundos and the warranty seal was not fold over at the center of the Cote d?Arms. Does anyone know if this is normal for a 5x3 cardboard box of Edmundos?

Does look odd Tom .... the Warrenty Seals are on the opposite corner on my Monte packs.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

They have been on the other side of my packs too. Best thing to do is shine a UV light over the warrenty seal. If you can see the watermark its doubtful there is anything to worry about.
Smoke em if you've got em

Watermark is there under UV On a 5x3 box PSP2's that I have the warranty seal is located at the same corner but the fold is at the center of the arms.

Unusual but not necessary a problem. Does everything else look right. I haven't seen counterfeit 3*5 boxes before ...has anyone else?

You know now that I look at them closer I noticed the bands are a lot lighter in color compared to my petite Edmundos, I guess I'm just paranoid but loo at the triple caps, they look like hexacaps
I guess I'll have to wait to smoke one...

The band on the right cigar in the first photo is the old montecristo band used up until a few years ago. I have them on my monte 2 and 4's.

The bandon the right are on the regular Edmundos.
I also thought it was the earlier band used until 2006 but my box code is 08... Who knows but the cubans

Would you mind if I asked where you purchased the cigars?

They look fine to me mate....Cuban QC leaves a lot to be desired. TBH I can't imagine 15-packs being forged...relax and enjoy.

PS I've a lot experience with and am a huge fan of Edmundo so I'd be happy to sample one and give an opinion

It's also suspicious that it overlaps the chevron...
