Recommend me a good robusto...

I would like to purchase a box of robustos sometime very soon but really not sure what to get. I would like a nice creamy smoke, reasonably priced too. I like the trinidad robusto t but cant stretch to that price at the moment so maybe something of a similar vain to this. I also like chocolate flavours, not too spicey.

for robusto 'sized' cigars, i'd recommend:
partagas d4
bolivar royal corona (tubed)
romeo y julieta short churchill
hoyo de monterrey epicure no. 2
montecristo petite edmundo

these come in boxes of 10 (except the hdm, box of 15) for very reasonable prices!!! i said recently that i found the tubed bolivars to be of a superior quality to the boxed version (just my opinion)!

most on here would heartily recommend the juan lopez selecion no. 2, not my favourite, but the majority vote wins!!!! lol!!! oh, and the vegas robaina famosos, absolutely magic!!! only problem is the come in boxes of 25.......if this is a problem.........lol........

if money was no problem i'd be saying the cohiba robusto and trinidad robusto t, both exceptional smokes imo!!! though i read recently that the cohibas are rather hit and miss at the moment..........

funny that, i've never had the h upmann connie no. 1 (the habanos shop here in belfast doesn't ever seem to have them on sale as singles)

I recommend the Bolivar Royal Corona (I've not tried these tubed yet), RASS or ERDM Choix Supreme.

[EDIT] Actually, for chocolate, go for the VR Famosos!

RASS and SLR Regios, cheap but good smoke they are!

I like the HdM Petit Robusto. Still good for an hour if you take it easy.

I smoked a Short Churchill last night. I wasn't sure it was'a good idea. However it was a really nice quick smoke for an evening walk

I'm surprised it took until Dave and the fifth reply, but given your wants I'd have suggested the VR Famosos was the cigar that ticked the boxes.

I'm sure you'll love having a box of RASS in though, I've got one and (whilst not my top smoke) it's not enough...
