Always let CCs rest in your humi for at least 6 months before sparking up. A year is better. But that is only if the box date is at least one year old. 09s are too soon to be smoking right now IMO.Business in the front. Party in the back.

I try to smoke nothing under 2 years old. Unfortunately when one starts smoking/collecting it is inevitable that you will smoke some young sticks. Those RASS's clearly need more time.Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these

I think the RASS is one of those that really improves with age & although is acceptable at a yr or two, it does get better. The trick to aging, just like with wines, is to buy two boxes; whilst smoking the first box the second is aging nicely. I have a box of 10/05 RASS started & a cab of 09/06, which will hopefully have another couple of yrs in the Humi before I get through my box. RASS's are stretched a little further than other vitolas for me, coz I the RASCC too & not only do they fill the shorter smoking periods, they stretch the time between my need for RASS.
