I've heard they RyJ cazadores is one of the strongest smokes out there, is that true?

interesting smoke... not blown away but interesting.
strong but not too strong, i had tight draw on mine and magali from JJs said thats to be expected of most cazadores, quite a different profile to the standard RyJ taste

I had my first on Friday night and pleasingly there was only a hint of that floral taste-I certainly see what you mean about twiglets! I would happily smoke another.

Well in all truth I'd had quite a bit of sun and drank quite a lot by the time I started it, so it's all a bit hazy...

Think I am going to order a box of these. I smoke a lot of strong nicaraguan smokes when not smoking Cubans. Will be interested to see how these stack up against tatuajes and the like

Personally I love these, particularly if I want something different from my usual day to day smokes.

But they do seem to be a very personal taste, people either seem to love them or loath them.

A long time ago, this caused me to describe them as a "marmite" cigar to a fellow smoker (who shall remain nameless as he maybe here ).
He thought I meant that they "tasted of marmite" which caused a few giggles. But he was right...great description of the flavour

I may be in the minority on this, but if you are going to search for a great R&J in that comparitive rg, I would definitely endorse the Regalias de Londres. Since late '08, these have been sharp, focused flavor and consistent level of strength. This is the shining star of the economical, smaller rg R&J.

Bnelly & I found some from May '02 in Calpe, Spain last summer, brought half a dozen as I was rather spent out at the time. Big mistake though, should have brought the remainder of the box. Great outdoor smoke (which it is intended to be).

Drew how would u say the londres stacks up against the cazadore in flavor terms. I had a #2 tubo a while back and was suprised at the amount of spice. I enjoyed it. At the price the ponders can be bought for it appears worth the gamble.
