Well if they're more expensive than a Gran Reserva, I may only smoke one or so in my life (cost dependent). A Gran Reserva is something I have on the horizon, but Cohiba are becoming a bit too 'lifestyle' IMO...
If that means I stick to smoking the paupers' Siglo line, so be it!

Just an update on recent news reports coming out of the 'festival'
(Forgive the broken English, it's a 'Google' translation from a Latin American News Agency).

          See Here:http://www.prensa-latina.cu/index.ph...66917&Itemid=1

"However, the real news was the Behike Cohiba (Cuban aboriginal name), who first appears as a line of this prestigious brand that emerged after 1959.

This specialty may cost 40 percent above the price of the Cigar Cohiba Siglo VI, one of the most appreciated by smokers understood, and is dependent on the market in question."

Seems to indicate that the earlier reports/speculation may have been fairly accurate. i.e. 40% more than a Siglo VI (and thankfully, NOT the Gran Reserva - hopefully).
Many takers at that price though?

              Ouch!

(Pedro, if you are planning to buy 10 boxes of these, please don't post that here, jealousy is such an ugly emotion!)

We really like these Festival boxes. Based upon what we have seen coming out of the Festival, these will be very interesting cigars. The wrappers are near perfect and the word has been very positive.

The hologram bands are very impressive, w/ a smaller indian head inside the larger indian head.

                Cheers
